Part 40 - Never Change
Hours must have gone by before I awoke, finding myself lying next to Toby, who was happily still dozing in a deep sleep. Both of us were resting on top of the couch, which was in the living room of my parent's house. Quietly stretching, I turned my head so that I was looking at Toby's face.
The dark circles beneath his lower eye lids had lightened up since the first time that I'd ever seen him sleeping. His hair, which I was slowly coming to terms with, was as much of an unruly mess as it'd been on day one. But as disarrayed as it was, I didn't want it to be changed about him. The light from the moon lit the room a sm
